"The majority of students I’ve taught want to have fun & play along with songs so I have designed a program which caters to these needs without neglecting the importance of developing strong foundations."

“I started my lessons with Paul when I was 10, thanks to him, drumming is something that I really love. We moved to Canberra, and looked for a teacher but no one could come close to Paul. He makes learning easy and fun, and helps you to take on new challenges. So whenever I got a chance to come back to Sydney, I'd have an extended lesson with Paul. I'm now drumming in a band, we've recently recorded our debut EP and have been playing shows regularly. Thanks Paul, it's fantastic all thanks to you!” - Lachlan Smith

I have had drum lessons with Paul for over 10 years now starting in grade 3 when I was 8 years old.
Over the years Paul has been a wonderful mentor to me in my music and in life as a drummer, he has helped me and encouraged me in all band concerts, out of school musical passions and through my HSC where I achieved a band 6 in music for my drum performance. Paul has also helped and inspired me to make a YouTube channel devoted to drumming with covers of songs and much more...." - Alex Jollye

"Paul Watson is a fantastic teacher: he helps you to quickly achieve the "basics" and stretches you each lesson by knowing where to take your drumming to the next level. He gets his students playing along to music very quickly.  I have had lessons with Paul for 3 years and for over two years, have been playing weekly with a band. Paul's valuable insights into performance and professionalism have helped me turn "head knowledge" into practical experience.  Apart from all this, he is a great bloke and a gifted teacher." - Felicity Stead

"Paul has been teaching me since 2001. He has been genuinely supportive of me and helped me in all aspects of my musical endeavours since I started learning from him at the age of seven. With his encouragement and wise mentoring I achieved Honours in all four of the CPM AMEB exams for the drum kit. I now enjoy regularly playing in bands and passing down what I have learnt from Paul to my own students, referring to Zero to Hero regularly with great results. I now not only consider him a great teacher, but a great friend." - John Coyne
